In Year 5 this term, we have been learning all about rivers of the UK and beyond. In geography, we looked at the main features of a river and the journey of a river from source to mouth. We looked at a number of different rivers in the world and even wrote our own non-chronological reports about our favourite ones. We now know loads of facts about the Ganges, the Nile, the Amazon and of course the River Tyne! Did you know that the River Tyne was an important part of Geordie history?
